Diabetic Living
Created as a anti-diabetic marketing ploy by the Carter Administration in the late 70's, Diabetic Living aimed to steer children and impressionable teens away from the growing diabetes lifestyle. Now, more than 30 years later, this periodical still boasts the many confectionery treats and constant unnerving blood tests that make up this alternative lifestyle.
Unfortunately, this lifestyle is no longer just a growing fad, as this year the census predicts that almost 10% of Americans will select Diabetic for choice of religion. But, for all those not tempted to choose the'betes', this magazine is an excellent reminder of the zest of life and a reminder to make
the right choice.
