Star Island By Carl Hiaasen

Star Island is a book about Paris Hilton in the parallel universe where everyone is a cartoon. The main character in this book loves high-fiving people while wearing hooker boots and texting people using T9 with the other hand while not even looking at her phone, unfortunately that's probably the most complex part of the plot. Until she is attacked by three fairies, that part was mpretty uch sweet. The “star island” is never even mentioned in this book, perhaps its a metaphor for a place where people can text and high-five without ever being mauled and eventually killed by fairies.
